Label: Delos

In its 34-year history, Delos has recorded some of the most honored names in the classical music field. Beginning with Eugene Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra, Janos Starker, Jean Pierre Rampal, Arleen Auger and numerous others, Delos has long been respected worldwide both for its excellent recording of established names and its discoveries of rising talents.

Delos's signing of operatic superstar baritone Dmitri Hvorostovsky for a series of solo recordings caused a stir in the classical world. Korean/American Metropolitan Opera soprano Hei-Kyung Hong solos on a recent Delos release with one of the world's greatest choirs, New York City's Voices of Ascension under Dennis Keene. A series of Delos recordings with rising young opera stars features Olga Guryakova, Marina Domashenko and Daniil Shtoda.

Delos has received worldwide recognition for its ambitious series with the famed Moscow Chamber Orchestra and the Philharmonia Orchestra of Russia under the brilliant American conductor Constantine Orbelian. Three fine American orchestras with current recent releases on Delos are the Dallas Symphony Orchestra under Andrew Litton, the Oregon Symphony under James DePreist, and the New Jersey Symphony under Zdenek Macal.
