'4 Seasons' in a project the intent of which is to bridge the gap in time between the year 2000 and 1700. In other words, it represents a form of time travel in which we attempt a 'correct' reading of history while at the same time interpreting it freely from our own perspective. There is a tendency to view history backwards in time as a funnel with ever narrowing boarders, each epoch having its own boundary. Through a change of perspective - an attempt to look at the work with a new pair of eyes - we hope to catch a glimpse of the moment of creation, when the work was unique and fresh.
