Alexandre Guilant was a famous 19th Century French organist and a virtuoso on the harmonium, a favorite instrument of the 19th century.
On this recording, Kurt Lueders plays Guilant's own wonderful Mustel "harmonium d'art". This instrument still belongs to the Guilant family and is being recorded here for the first time.
