Music From Berlin Castles

5 CD Set

The many castles in and around Berlin used to be the splendid centre of musical activities in courtly times. The nobility was very interested in engaging the most important composers and musicians to come to Prussia. Thus, we find musical treasures on these five CDs as they were performed at Sanssouci, Charlottenburg or Rheinsberg Castle. The Berliner Barock-compagney plays on historical instruments.
